Karaoke Machines for Home Parties
At home you usually have a wall socket and a TV nearby, so battery life matters less than how the lyrics get onto a screen and how many people can sing at once.
What matters at home
- Lyrics on the TV. HDMI is the easy route. The SML385 uses RCA instead.
- Two singers at once. Every pick except the SML385 includes two wireless mics.
- Apps and subscriptions. Built-in apps are convenient, but karaoke catalogs often need a paid plan after a trial.

FAQ
Is a screen machine better than a Bluetooth speaker for home?
It depends on your TV setup. A screen machine shows lyrics without a phone and can send them to a TV over HDMI. A Bluetooth party speaker is simpler but keeps the lyrics on your phone.
Do these machines need Wi-Fi?
The ISM9025, ISM9011 and Shell S1 use Wi-Fi for their built-in apps. The TONOR K20 and SML385 don't need it.
Can I add more microphones?
The ISM9025 has jacks for two extra wired mics, per the maker. For the SML385BTW, Singing Machine's support page is unclear on a second mic jack, so check the manual first.
